Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am very excited for this year! We will be learning so much and growing in our relationship with God!
About Me
I grew up in a big Catholic family. I have 10 brothers and sisters. One of my sisters is a religious sister. I grew up on a farm by Cheney Lake. I owe my love for nature, I believe, to always having the opportunity to being able to spend many hours as a child out in nature.
Before becoming a teacher, I had been discerning to see if I was called to the priesthood. I spent 4+ years in the seminary. I have now been teaching for 13 years.
For hobbies, I enjoy playing and watching sports. My favorite sport team is the Kansas City Chiefs. I enjoy going for walks, reading, watching movies, and spending time with God, family, and friends.
Third Grade
This year we get the opportunity to learn how to pray the rosary! I think it is wonderful that each class gets to learn and call to memory a psalm! The psalm we will learn is Psalm 139. We also get to learn how to multiply and divide. Finally, 3rd grade is the year, I feel, you really to get to see students take off and read (chapter books).
Again, I am very excited to be here at Christ the King and have the opportunity to be your 3rd grade teacher and part of your student’s journey in life!
